Broken dreams
Broken dreams along life's
pathway
Held me in despair too many to
face.
Life’s indecisiveness held bound
in its track.
Living here on earth, unable to
fulfill daily expectations of others.
Experiencing broken, dreams not
having courage to rise above them
Once fallen oh how this heart of
mine aches to go forward?
But broken dreams draining me of
strength to carry on-

Held me in despair too many to
face.
Broken dreams holding soul
stagnated
From the crippling affairs of the enemies all
around
Broken dreams of the past
holding me bound.
Some life’s long hard lessons
learned along the way.
See its perplexity rendering me
in disobedience not trusting the Master will.
When will you, set me free so I
can fly.

Held me in despair too many to
face.
Oh Lord I read in your words.
That if I belief and call on
your name you hear and answer.
Yet according to your promise, I cannot do
this on my own,
So here I’m waiting in the valley of decisions
for your directions.
Lord you know that broken dreams destroyed expectations of living.
So this day I pray, help me for without you I
shall surly die.

Held me in despair too many to

Lord I’m casting all my
brokenness on you.
Take these feeble hands, feet
and mind of mine
I surrender them to your
service.
Now traveling along life’s
pathways, walking among rugged tracks
Tracks strewn with all of life’s
broken dreams, teach me how to walk with you
Let me see your completeness in
all the brokenness.

Lord as I stumble and fall in
seasons of difficulties
Help me to look ahead seeing
only your footprints.
There finding assurance through
the word
And endurance from the faith of
the cross.
Father I’m casting my burdens on
your shoulders.
Placing my will in your hands
and my life in your care.

Held me in despair too many to

See broken dreams reeling at my
mind night and day.
Oh lord within the darkness
there is no room for right decision
The brains in confusion, unable
to hold on any longer,
Now lift me up all the problems
to Calvary where burdens become light
So cast me the brokenness at the
foot of your cross.
Remind me Lord if I look to and
trust your will, my life will simple be secure in you

Father see all the broken
dreams.
The rugged path with track
records high as a mountain.
Help me to accept that broken
dreams are only for a season.
Lord allow us to understand that
dreams come through
For you accomplish dreams and
mend brokenness
Yes, this time bring me to you
my brokenness, no holding back.

Lord I know I have not attained
that which I should attain
Nevertheless with all these
broken dreams, I look to you
Take the broken and displaced
dreams make them complete
Oh heal the broken hearts with
your love
Yes Lord take the broken dreams,
broken spirit and broken pieces.
The confusion and perplexity and
make them whole.

Held me in despair too many to

Oh Lord see all the distrust,
I’m yielding them to you.
In mine eyes they are greater
than a mountain
But I understand you are bigger
than any mountain of mine.
And your purpose for life will
bring these broken dreams to wholeness.
Folks I challenge you this very
moment give your brokenness to Jesus
Christ mends brokenness and he
will make you whole.
